Leaving Las Natchez

Short post as I enjoy my second dark mocha latte. My special concoction.

Death by dark chocolate.

As part of my journey blogs, I’ll share what I’m learning about car-glamping. I’ve already been on a multi-day one-site camp. This one-night stopover is a whole different animal. Yet some things will be consistent. Here’s a peek.

Rear seats folded down provide some nice cubbies for stowing gear.

I tried to think of as many things as I’d need. Keeping it crucial. In that cubbyhole is my emergency kit, compact battery jumper, all my charging cables, window screens for ventilation, and lights.

Now that’s some fine H2O. And a rechargeable pump.

Here you see my water station, and my refrigerated cooler. Also my astral attic… only books and my headlamp stored there for now.

Bluetti power cube. I tried to get an RTG, but the permits are such a hassle.

Power cube has been awesome. Most of my camp sites this trip have electric hookups, but this baby will power my espresso maker for one day. And of course it charges from my car when traveling.

The command center.

I really tried to not bring too much stuff. This trip will tell.

You may be wondering how I fared through the night. Well, here’s my bunk, cluttered for travel today.

All this clutter.

I’ll take a picture this evening of it ready for sleeping.

Speaking of sleeping, here I am snuggled up.

Groovy baby, yeah
I did close the hatch for sleeping.

Alright. Time to hit the road. See you in OK.

Peace and love. Marv
