My son introduced me to his secret camping spot. I cannot divulge that it was in the vicinity of Red Feather CO.
This area is part of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land. Government/Public land. Free for us publics to use. For now. A certain government administration is talking about selling some of this land. Please folks, let’s not let them.
Caleb, my tour guide and son, shared all of his fun activities with me. We explored the forest. The fire safety was yellow, so we responsibly had a small fire in the night. We stargazed. I saw the Milky Way! And it was whole, not two percent, like I normally get. It was just so great to spend some quiet time in nature and have talks with my grown up son; who is living his best life.
Dispersed Pictures

The drive out and the drive back reminded me of my time in Idaho. A long time ago. Similar landscape. We stopped and got a coffee from a mercantile in the little town.
And to close, the final pics.

Another glorious day in Colorado. This week of the little family reunion is slowly coming to a close. I am so happy to have seen my family, and to have spent time with them. However, my return home adventure is just about to begin. More to come!
Peace and love to all my fellow cowpokes out there. Cowboy up.
