The death of the Georgian luger has cemented in my mind just how dangerous olympic sports are, and at what high a level olympic atheletes perform. I can only imagine the countless hours Nodar Kumaritashvili had spent training himself for his sport. The level of dedication is staggering. His death is a staggering loss.
