Completing this little fun exercise got me thinking some on pirates, lady pirates to be exact. I poked around a bit and came across Anne Bonny who it appears lead a pretty interesting life alongside her “pirate lover” with whom she committed adultery against her husband then committed to a life of pillaging and plundering the waters of the Caribbean. She and her lover, John “Calico Jack” Rackham were captured but not without a fight which Anne reportedly more than held her own in. They were both sentenced to death; however it is thought that Anne may have been rescued by her Father a powerful British plantation owner. Arr!
